WELD-ON 711​ is an industrial-grade, grey, high-strength PVC solvent cement. It is characterized by its high viscosity (heavy-bodied)​ and medium setting time. This cement is formulated with low VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) emissions and is designed for joining PVC pipes and fittings with interference fits, including Schedule 80, through 12 inches (315 mm) in diameter. ⚠️ Important Safety and Handling Notes

  • Flammability: This product is extremely flammable. Keep away from heat, sparks, and open flames. Vapors can be explosive and are heavier than air .
  • Health Precautions: Vapors are harmful. May be harmful if swallowed and may irritate skin or eyes. Use in a well-ventilated area and avoid breathing vapors. Personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves and goggles is recommended .
  • Critical Prohibition: WELD-ON solvent cements must NEVER be used in PVC systems that contain, use, or are being tested with compressed air or gases, including air-over-liquid boosters .
  • Special Precaution: Do not use dry granular calcium hypochlorite as a disinfectant in systems where this cement is used, as it may cause a violent chemical reaction. Purify lines by pumping chlorinated water instead .
