Flammability: This product is extremely flammable. Keep away from heat, sparks, and open flames. Vapors can be explosive and are heavier than air . -
Health Precautions: Vapors are harmful. May be harmful if swallowed and may irritate skin or eyes. Use in a well-ventilated area and avoid breathing vapors. Personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves and goggles is recommended . -
Critical Prohibition: WELD-ON solvent cements must NEVER be used in PVC systems that contain, use, or are being tested with compressed air or gases, including air-over-liquid boosters . -
Special Precaution: Do not use dry granular calcium hypochlorite as a disinfectant in systems where this cement is used, as it may cause a violent chemical reaction. Purify lines by pumping chlorinated water instead .
